Senator Bucco honored with ASAH Legislator of the Year Award

NEW JERSEY – Senate Republican Leader Anthony M. Bucco Friday was honored with a “Legislator of the Year” Award from Association of Schools and Agencies for the Handicapped (ASAH).

“I am extremely honored and grateful to ASAH for this prestigious award,” said Bucco. “This recognition is a testament to the tireless effort of the parents, teachers, and medical professionals who worked with the Legislature to make life better for children and young adults with disabilities. Together, we have achieved remarkable progress to ensure equal representation for the disabled community in New Jersey and I look forward to continuing our work with ASAH and my legislative colleagues to accomplish even more.”

Since 1974, ASAH has served students and youth with disabilities, advocating for policies that enhance their well-being and the quality of special education programs.
