Shark Tooth Hunt on National Tooth Fairy Day at SEA LIFE New Jersey

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ – It’s National Tooth Fairy Day and SEA LIFE Aquarium New Jersey is celebrating by diving for shark teeth.

The divers are ready for their best tooth fairy impression, donning fin-tastic tooth fairy attire, and diving for real shark teeth embedded in the sand in their Ocean Exhibit.

The Aquarium will be giving away some of the shark teeth findings to a few lucky guests at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 28. Guests can also enjoy their Tooth Fairy dive at that time.

SEA LIFE New Jersey’s Ocean Exhibit has various creatures, like Bonnethead Shark and Black-tip Reef sharks that lose their teeth into the floor of the exhibit. In fact, sharks can lose around 30,000 teeth in a lifetime, so the Shark Tooth Fairy stays busy!
