ShopRite to host job fair on April 27

NEW JERSEY – ShopRite will host hiring fairs on Saturday, April 27 for candidates seeking career opportunities and valuable experience in retail.

The walk-up job fairs are taking place from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at store locations throughout New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware and Maryland.

Interested candidates can visit most participating ShopRite stores to speak with a hiring representative for an immediate interview. Full-time, part-time and management positions are available, depending on location.

Available positions, including general, perishable, front end and stocking clerks, feature flexible hours and a wide variety of cross training to provide employees with the knowledge, skills and tools to work as a team throughout the store. Training programs include a game-based training app and are designed to provide a solid foundation so each individual can achieve their best and pursue career goals.

Each job offers opportunities for career growth and plays an integral part in the operation of the entire Wakefern cooperative and its retail banners and stores.

Many of the family-owned supermarkets also offer associates entertainment and tuition discounts, and scholarship opportunities. Wakefern, the nation’s largest retailer-owned cooperative, has a 78-year history of commitment to communities and the family-owned businesses that are part of the cooperative.
