Sussex County woman pleads guilty to causing harm to a child

NEWTON, NJ (Sussex County) – A Sussex County woman has pled guilty to causing harm to a child, according to Acting Sussex County Prosecutor Annmarie Taggart announced

Patrice Wilson, 29, of Stillwater Township pled guilty on Sept. 27 to third-degree endangering the welfare of a child before the Honorable Michael C. Gaus, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton, Taggart said.

In pleading guilty, Wilson admitted to purposefully or knowingly causing harm to a child, Taggart said.

Wilson is scheduled to be sentenced on Nov. 17.

The case was investigated by Trooper Dawson of the New Jersey State Police. Wilson was represented by Thomas Militano, Esq., and the State was represented by Special Deputy Attorney General and Acting Assistant Prosecutor Vanessa Henderson.
