HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (Warren County) — Team Car Wash will celebrate the grand opening of its newest Hackettstown location on Saturday, May 16, with free car washes, live entertainment and fundraising efforts benefiting Smiles For Margaret.
The new express exterior car wash, located at 203 Mountain Ave. at the corner of East Avenue in Hackettstown, will host grand opening festivities from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
According to Team Car Wash, customers will receive 10 days of free car washes, while the first 100 guests will receive a free one-month membership.
The event will also feature live music from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., appearances by Centenary Cyclone and Somerset Patriots mascot Sparkee, and exclusive membership promotions.
Team Car Wash said 50% of membership proceeds will be donated to Smiles For Margaret.
The family-owned company, headquartered in Westfield, said the Hackettstown facility includes environmentally friendly equipment and water conservation technology.
According to the company, the site’s water reclamation system reduces water usage from approximately 140 gallons per vehicle to about 20 gallons.
“There will be 20 free vacuum stations available to customers, including 10 located inside the building for cold winter days,” company representative Thomas M. Fuller said.
The location will also offer unlimited monthly wash plans.
Hackettstown was selected for the project following redevelopment opportunities created by the closure of a former Rite Aid store.
“The closure of the former Rite Aid drug store provided a unique opportunity to redevelop the property and provide Hackettstown residents with a service that did not exist,” Fuller told RNJ.
