Time is running out to purchase your 15th annual Hackettstown BID St Patrick’s Parade apparel

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – If you’re looking to purchase 15th annual Hackettstown Business Improvement District St Patrick’s Parade apparel, the clock is ticking.

The online store closes on Sunday, Feb. 25 at 11:59 p.m.

“Due to increasing shortages in garment supplies, some items may take longer than others to come in. Also, due to the same shortages, we may be faced with having to use different brands,” Hackettstown Business Improvement District Executive Director Laurie Rapisardi said.

All items will be distributed at Hackettstown BID office, located at 219 Main Street, after March 5, once all orders are processed and complete, Rapisardi said.

St. Patrick’s Festivities

The Hackettstown Business Improvement District will kick-off St. Patrick’s festivities with a beer and braw crawl and pre-sale tickets are on sale now through Feb. 22.

A donation of $25 provides a ticket sheet, which includes a coupon good for a beer at each location: Marley’s Gotham Grill, Grand Avenue Tavern, Man Skirt Brewing, and Czig Meister Brewing Company. The tickets are valid from Feb. 22 through March 31.

This fundraiser supports Hackettstown’s 15th Annual St. Patrick’s Parade on Sunday, March 10 at 3:30 p.m.

The BID will then host a Grand Marshal Reception to honor the 2024 St. Patrick’s Parade Grand Marshal Darren Tynan on Thursday, March 7 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at David’s Country Inn, located at 314 Main Street, in Hackettstown.

The buffet reception dinner features a live performance by Rory O’Moore School of Pipes and Drums and a dance performance by Slattery School of Irish Dance.

These events leads up to Hackettstown’s highly-anticipated 15th Annual St. Patrick’s Parade on Sunday, March 10 and kicks-off at 3:30 p.m. with Grand Marshal Darren Tynan, leading numerous participants including: Irish dance groups, Irish bands, community groups, bagpipes and drums, Centenary University and Hackettstown High School teams and clubs, surrounding area fire departments and rescue squads, as well as hometown favorites the Junior and Senior Colonial Musketeers and the Hackettstown Community Band.

The parade is pet-friendly, with a special pet Irish Costume Contest sponsored by Doggie Styleash. Judging will be held at Czig Meister Brewing, located at 106 Valentine St, starting at 3:30 p.m. sharp. Pets will then be invited to walk the parade after judging.
