Two injured in I-80 crash in Morris County

ROXBURY TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — Two drivers were injured Sunday evening in a crash on Interstate 80 in Roxbury Township, according to New Jersey State Police.

Troopers responded to the crash at 7:53 p.m. on May 31 on Interstate 80 east near milepost 29.2 in Morris County, state police said,

Based on a preliminary investigation, a collision occurred between a Kia passenger vehicle and a Dodge pickup truck. The impact caused the Dodge to veer off the roadway to the left, strike a guardrail and overturn, Brennan said.

Both drivers sustained moderate injuries and were transported to an area hospital for treatment.

The crash remains under investigation.
