
Two juveniles injured after pickup truck strikes motorized bicycle in Roxbury Township
ROXBURY TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — Two juveniles riding the same motorized bicycle were injured Monday afternoon when they were struck by a pickup truck in Roxbury Township, police said.
The crash occurred at approximately 2:39 p.m. at the intersection of Palmer Street and Main Street.
According to police, a 10-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy were riding together on the motorized bicycle and failed to stop at a posted stop sign before entering the roadway, where they were struck by a pickup truck driven by a 17-year-old male.
Both juveniles sustained minor injuries and were transported to a hospital for evaluation and treatment. The driver was not injured.
The incident remains under investigation, and no additional information was released.
