
UPDATE: Motorcyclist killed in fiery crash in Morris County ID’d
PARSIPPANY-TROY HILLS, NJ (Morris County) – Authorities identified the motorcyclist killed in a fiery crash in Parsippany-Troy Hills Wednesday afternoon as a 30-year-old resident of Little Falls, according to Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Public Information Officer Meghan Knab.
On Aug. 21, at around 4:00 p.m., the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office was notified of a serious collision that occurred in the area of 100 Parsippany Road, Knab said.
Police responded to the reported collision involving a motorcycle, operated by Kyle McNamara, and a Kia Sportage, in which both vehicles became engulfed in flames, Knab said.
McNamara was transported to Morristown Medical Center and was pronounced dead, Knab said.
The driver of the Sportage was transported to an area hospital and has been released, Knab said.
As of Friday morning, no charges have been filed, Knab said.
The crash remains under investigation by the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, Parsippany-Troy Hills Police Department, and the Morris County Sheriff’s Office.
