Wanted man arrested during Morris County traffic stop

DENVILLE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A traffic stop in Denville Township led to the arrest of a wanted suspect.

On Sept. 11, at around 8:38 a.m., police stopped a vehicle on Route 46 after observing a driver not wearing his seatbelt, as well as an inoperable break light, police said.

During the course of the stop, the front seat passenger was identified as Michael Espinoza, 37, of Dover and it was revealed that he had an active National Crime Information Center (NCIC) warrant for child neglect issued by the Sussex County Sheriff’s Office, police said.

Espinoza was arrested and then lodged in the Morris County Correctional Facility pending a court appearance, police said.

The driver was issued a verbal warning for the two motor vehicle violations, police said.
