MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — A Port Murray man has been arrested after an investigation into an alleged attempt to pass a fraudulent prescription for oxycodone at a Budd Lake pharmacy, police said.
Police said the incident was reported Dec. 22, 2025, at a CVS Pharmacy on Route 46 in Budd Lake, where staff reported a man attempted to use a fraudulent prescription. The man left the store before officers arrived, authorities said.
Investigators later identified the suspect as Kevin Fenty, 35, of Port Murray, and a warrant was issued for his arrest, police said.
On Jan. 13, police said they observed Fenty leaving a private residence in Budd Lake in a green Ford Explorer.
