Warren County man charged with possession of cocaine in Morris County

DENVILLE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A Warren County man was found to be in possession of cocaine in Denville Township.

On Oct. 19, at around 12:01 p.m., Brian Gabel, 41, of Great Meadows was taken into custody by the Denville Police Department after being sentenced to the Morris County Correctional Facility by the Denville Township Court regarding a previous matter, police said.

While being processed, Gabel was found to be in possession of suspected cocaine, police said.

Gabel was charged with being in possession of a controlled dangerous substance and released on his own recognizance pending a future court appearance in Morris County Superior Court, police said.

Gabel was subsequently transported to and turned over to the custody of the Morris County Correctional Facility in relation to his court sentence, police said.
