Warren County Planning Board member Deborah Pasquarelli honored for 19 years of service

WARREN COUNTY, NJ – The Warren County Planning Board honored Deborah Pasquarelli for her service as she stepped down after 19 years on the board, six of them as its chair.

Commissioner Director James R. Kern III, a county Planning Board member, presented Pasquarelli with a proclamation recognizing her dedication and years of service.

“On behalf of Warren County, we thank Debbie for her years of service,” Kern said. “She provided leadership and a strong technical understanding of the planning process. Her insight will be missed but we are thankful she was able to transfer her knowledge to the current board members, We wish her a happy retirement.”

Pasquarelli was first appointed as an Alternate member in June 2004 and became a Regular member in September 2007.

She chaired the board in 2010-2011, 2018-2019, and 2021-2022, and was instrumental in the development and adoption of the Board’s 2008 and 2018 Open Space and Recreation Plans.

In addition to the County Planning Board, Pasquarelli served as Committeeperson, Mayor, and Planning Board member in Greenwich Township, and served on the New Jersey Highlands Water Protection and Planning Council.

Born and raised in Northwest NJ, Jay has a degree in Communications and has had a life-long interest in local radio and various styles of music. His hobbies include mountain climbing, snowmobiling, cooking, performing stand-up comedy and he is an avid squirrel watcher.
