Washington Township Recreation brings free drive-in movies under the stars to Rock Spring Park
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – Washington Township Recreation presents the 2024 “Movies under the Stars.”
No pre-registration is required. The free movie nights’ showings are as follow:
- “Under the Boardwalk” June 27th (rain date June 28th) Under the boardwalk at the Jersey Shore, a land crab townie falls in love with a sea crab tourist, but tensions between their friends and families rise. When a storm casts the duo far from home, their love will lead them on an adventure. Rated PG
- “Blue Beetle” July 18th (rain date July 19th) Recent college grad Jaime Reyes returns home full of aspirations for his future, only to find that home is not quite as he left it. As he searches to find his purpose in the world, fate intervenes when Jaime unexpectedly finds himself in possession of an ancient relic of alien biotechnology: the Scarab. When the Scarab suddenly chooses Jaime to be its symbiotic host, he is bestowed with an incredible suit of armor capable of extraordinary and unpredictable powers, forever changing his destiny as he becomes the Super Hero BLUE BEETLE. Rated PG-13
Both movies will be shown at Rock Spring Park (lower field) beginning at dusk at around 8:30 p.m.
