Woman arrested for kidnapping, other charges in Warren County

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A Warren County woman was arrested last month for kidnapping and other charges in Washington Township.

On Monday, July 15, at around 12:34 p.m., officers responded to the Division of Child Protection and Permanency, located on Route 57, for a disorderly person attempting to leave with a child, police said.

Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, a 36-year-old Phillipsburg woman, whose name was not released, was arrested and charged with criminal attempt, kidnapping, contempt of judicial order and failure to be fingerprinted, police said.

She was then lodged in the Warren County Jail.
