Woman charged with DWI following crash in Warren County

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – A Warren County woman is facing charges, including driving while intoxicated, following a crash in Hackettstown on Saturday.

The crash occurred around 1:13 a.m. at the intersection of Grand Avenue and Mountain View Drive, police said.

According to authorities, a vehicle was traveling northbound on Grand Avenue when a 2018 Audi, driven by Lauren Brown, 22, of Blairstown Township, swerved into the northbound lane and struck another vehicle.

While speaking with Brown, the officer allegedly detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage, police said.

Brown was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and reckless driving. She was released pending a court appearance, police said.
