2 injured in Sussex County crash involving motorcycle, minivan

SANDYSTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – Two people were injured following a crash involving a motorcycle and a minivan Monday in Sussex County, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Charles Marchan.

The crash happened at around 6:29 p.m. on Route 206 northbound at milepost 12.15 in Sandyston Township, Marchan said.

A preliminary police investigation revealed that a Chrysler minivan was stopped in traffic, waiting to turn left, when a motorcycle struck the rear of the minivan, Marchan said.

The motorcyclist and the driver of the minivan both suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to area hospitals, Marchan said.

The crash remains under investigation.
