3 injured after police chase ends in crash in Morris County

PARSIPPANY-TROY HILLS, NJ (Morris County) – A police pursuit ended in a car crash in Morris County, leaving three people injured early Tuesday morning, according to Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Public Information Officer Meghan Knab.

The Morris County prosecutor’s office was notified by the Roxbury township Police department regarding a pursuit that was initiated in their jurisdiction at about 5:24 a.m. on June 18, Knab said.

According to Knab, Roxbury Township police officers were dispatched to a business on Route 46 for a commercial burglary alarm. A pursuit was initiated with a suspect vehicle, which traveled to Route 10.

The pursuit ended when the suspect vehicle colliding with the median near the intersection of Route 10 and Powder Mill Road in Parsippany-Troy Hills, Knab said.

The three occupants in the vehicle suffered serious injuries and were transported to Morristown Medical Center, Knab said.

No officers were injured, Knab said.

The incident remains under investigation, Knab said.
