4 injured when car crashes into tree in Morris County

CHESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – Four people were injured in a crash Thursday night in Chester Township, according to police.

The crash happened at around 9:20 p.m. in the area of County Route 513 and Furnace Road in Chester Township, police said.

According to police, a 2014 BMW SUV, driven by Anushree Ganguly, 39, of Long Valley was traveling westbound on County Route 513 and just prior to Furnace Road, the vehicle exited the right side of the roadway and impacted a tree.

Ganguly, an adult passenger and two juvenile passengers were transported to Morristown Medical Center for treatment, police said.

This crash remains under investigation, police said.
