Sussex County woman sentenced to probation for aggravated assault
NEWTON, NJ (Sussex County) – A Sussex County woman was sentenced to probation for aggravated assault, according to Acting Sussex County Prosecutor Annmarie Taggart.
Susan A. Antcliff, 44, of Sussex was sentenced on August 2 before the Honorable Michael C. Gaus, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton, Taggart said.
Antcliff was sentenced to probation for a period of three years. In addition to the standard conditions of probation, she must undergo a substance abuse evaluation and complete a batterer’s intervention program, follow any recommendations, and pay fines and fees, Taggart said.
Antcliff pled guilty on April 4 to third-degree aggravated assault. She admitted to knowingly committing aggravated assault by attempting to cause serious bodily injury to the victim, Taggart said.
