SANDYSTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – A driver was flown to a hospital after a crash in Sussex County early Monday morning, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Jeffrey Lebron.

A preliminary police investigation revealed that a Dodge pickup truck, driven by Jack Insinga, 18, of Branchville, was traveling southbound on Sunrise Mountain Road, Lebron said.
Approximately 0.6 miles north of Upper North Shore Road, the Dodge traveled off the left side of the road, impacted the guardrail, overturned into a wooded area and struck several trees, Lebron said.

As a result of the crash, Insinga suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to an area hospital, Lebron said.
