Butler Fire Department and police team up to support animals affected by Hurricane Helene

BUTLER, NJ (Morris County) — The Butler Volunteer Fire Department, in collaboration with the Butler Police Department, is rallying the community to collect essential supplies for four-legged friends impacted by Hurricane Helene in Western North Carolina.

Teaming up with the Friends of Ashe County Animal Shelter (FAAS), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the initiative aims to provide much-needed support to dogs and cats in the Ashe County animal shelters.

Community members are encouraged to contribute supplies, as detailed in the below flyer. For any questions, eail Butler Fire Department Chief Chris Finelli at B1@ButlerFD.com.

“We thank you in advance for your generosity in fulfilling this mission of helping other small communities in their time of need,” the fire department stated.
