Hopatcong Patriots Parade and Festival set for Sept. 27

HOPATCONG BOROUGH, N.J. (Sussex County) — The Borough of Hopatcong and Lake Hopatcong Elks Lodge 782 will host the annual Hopatcong Patriots Parade and Festival on Saturday, Sept. 27, with a full day of activities planned for residents and visitors.

The parade will step off at 2 p.m. from Hopatcong High School, with festivities to follow at Hopatcong Firehouse #3. Organizers said the event will include food, drinks, vendors, and live music.

A car show is scheduled from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., followed by a beer garden from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Families can enjoy a free KidZone between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.

The day will conclude with a glow party beginning at 8 p.m., featuring bands, a DJ, glow sticks, and beach balls. The evening celebration is sponsored by Dover Dodge.

The festival is free and open to the public.
