Rep. Tom Kean Jr. opens applications for Spring 2026 congressional internship program

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Congressman Tom Kean Jr. (NJ-07) announced Wednesday that his offices in Washington, D.C., and Lebanon Borough, New Jersey, are now accepting applications for the Spring 2026 Internship Program, offering college students an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a congressional setting.

The competitive program provides students with the chance to assist congressional staff and learn directly about the legislative process. Interns will help with a variety of tasks, including legislative research, constituent correspondence, communications, and community outreach.

“My offices in Washington, D.C. and Lebanon Borough are excited to open our doors to the next cohort of interns this spring,” said Congressman Kean. “For students who are passionate about public service and eager to see how government works firsthand, I encourage you to apply for the program. Our interns play an active role in serving the people of New Jersey’s Seventh District and develop valuable skills and experience that will serve them well in their future careers.”

Applicants must be currently enrolled in college and complete an online application available at kean.house.gov/services/internships. The deadline to apply is Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.

Positions are available in both Kean’s Washington, D.C. and Lebanon Borough district offices.
