Lane restriction set April 23 at I-78 Toll Bridge E-ZPass facility

WARREN COUNTY, N.J. — A lane restriction is scheduled Thursday, April 23, at the Interstate 78 Toll Bridge’s Express E-ZPass facility to allow for planning work on future tolling upgrades, officials said.

The facility will be reduced to a single lane from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with one of two lanes open for westbound traffic entering Pennsylvania.

The Express E-ZPass toll collection facility is accessible from the left westbound lane after crossing the I-78 Toll Bridge.

The restriction will allow a Commission engineering consultant to conduct measurements and other activities related to the planning and design of a future all-electronic tolling system.

Officials said the lane closure is subject to change due to weather, emergencies or other factors.
