Girl Scouts brighten Riverfront Park in Hackettstown with new flower garden

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (Warren County)Hackettstown Recreation is recognizing the efforts of a local Girl Scout troop after the group beautified Riverfront Park on Seber Road in Hackettstown over the weekend.

On Sunday, May 17, members of the troop gathered at the park to create a flower garden beneath the Nelson Hoyt Park sign, adding new color and charm to the area.

Recreation officials praised the girls for their teamwork, dedication and community spirit, noting that their efforts helped bring new life to one of Hackettstown’s public spaces.

“Their hard work, teamwork and bright smiles brought new life and color to the park — and we couldn’t be prouder,” Hackettstown Recreation said in a statement.

Officials said the project helps make Hackettstown “shine a little brighter.”
