Trading post, garden supply center to celebrate grand opening in Sussex County

BYRAM TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Sussex County) — A new trading post and garden supply center will celebrate their grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday, July 11 in Byram Township.

The event is scheduled for 10 a.m. at 198 Route 206 North, the former site of the Mountainside Cafe. Byram Township Mayor Alexander Rubenstein is expected to attend.

The trading post is operated by Louis and Andrea Coviello. The store features antiques, boating supplies, camping supplies, Jerzey Girl Pickles, products from The Chocolate Shoppe in Long Valley, Chester Meat Market, Family Kitchen Ravioli, ice cream, jams, dressing, honey and baked goods from Ort Farms.

The opening follows a lengthy process to prepare the former cafe space for the new business.

The event will also mark the grand opening of Byram Stone, a garden supply center located behind the building. Byram Stone is operated by Louis Coviello and his children, Rudy and Annette Coviello.

The public is invited to attend the ribbon-cutting and visit the new businesses.
