Schuyler Place entrance, exit to Ann-Bank Garage in Morristown to close for repairs

MORRISTOWN, N.J. (Morris County) — The Schuyler Place entrance and exit to the Ann-Bank Garage in Morristown will temporarily close beginning Tuesday, June 30, while crews complete concrete repairs and apply a protective seal to the parking facility, the Morristown Parking Authority announced.

The Ann-Bank Garage will remain open throughout the project, with vehicles able to enter and exit through the Bank Street entrance and exit.

The Schuyler Place exit will close at 6 a.m. Tuesday, June 30, followed by the Schuyler Place entrance at 6 p.m. Both are expected to reopen at 6 a.m. Monday, July 6, weather permitting.

On June 30, vehicles may continue entering the garage from Schuyler Place until 6 p.m., but vehicles will not be able to exit through Schuyler Place after 6 a.m. Drivers should use the Bank Street exit.

Pedestrian access through Schuyler Place will remain available until 6 p.m. Tuesday. After that, pedestrians should use the stair tower at Ann and Bank streets or the Bank Street stair tower.

The two-hour retail parking spaces next to Schuyler Place will be unavailable from June 30 through July 5. Temporary retail customer parking will be available from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Ann Street Senior Center in designated spaces for Mindy’s Munchies and Kirshenbaum Baking Co. customers.

Additional retail parking is available at the Dalton Garage on Cattano Avenue. Mindy’s Munchies, The Grand Cafe and Kirshenbaum Baking Co. offer parking validation for customers using the Dalton Garage.

Anyone who needs help locating a vehicle may contact the Morristown Parking Authority at 973-828-5330, which is available 24 hours a day.
