MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — The Mount Olive Police Department will give residents an opportunity to meet local officers over ice cream during a “Cones with Cops” community event Saturday, Aug. 29.
The event will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. at Das’ Creamery, located at the Village Green, 100 Route 46, in the Budd Lake section of the township.
According to Mount Olive police, the event is designed to bring officers and community members together in an informal setting.
Residents will have an opportunity to meet and talk with local officers, and free ice cream cones will be available during the event.
The family-friendly gathering is being promoted under the theme “Cool Treats. Great Community. Stronger Together.”
