Alternating single-lane traffic planned at Uhlerstown-Frenchtown Bridge this week

FRENCHTOWN BOROUGH, N.J. (Hunterdon County) — Motorists may encounter alternating single-lane travel at the Uhlerstown-Frenchtown Toll-Supported Bridge from Wednesday through Friday due to planned flagger-controlled traffic operations, bridge officials said.

The restrictions will be in place daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. between Dec. 3 and Dec. 5. Drivers may experience brief traffic stoppages, lane shifts and travel delays during the work periods.

Motorists are urged to use caution and be prepared to stop.

Officials noted that the schedule is subject to change due to weather, emergencies or other unforeseen circumstances.
