Celebrating 60 years of impact: Hunterdon County Commissioner Kuhl recognizes Norwescap at gala

SOMERSET, NJ — On Wednesday, May 7, Commissioner Jeff Kuhl attended Norwescap’s 60th Anniversary Gala, held at The Palace at Somerset Park, where he presented a proclamation recognizing the enduring and impactful collaboration between Norwescap and Hunterdon County.

The milestone event celebrated six decades of Norwescap’s dedication to empowering individuals and families throughout Hunterdon County and beyond.

In his remarks, Commissioner Kuhl praised Norwescap’s commitment to community support, stating, “For 60 years, Norwescap has been a vital force in Hunterdon County, providing essential services that uplift and empower our residents. The partnership between Norwescap and the Department of Human Services has been instrumental in improving lives, ensuring that resources and support reach those in need.”

The proclamation highlighted Norwescap’s extensive contributions to critical health resources, education opportunities, employment, and community services. It also underscored the organization’s dedication to helping individuals achieve self-sufficiency.

The gala brought together community leaders, supporters, and beneficiaries to reflect on Norwescap’s impact and to reaffirm a shared commitment to continued collaboration in the years ahead.

“On behalf of the entire Board, I would like to congratulate Norwescap and the entire team behind its success for 60 years of incredible service. Norwescap’s dedication to our residents goes beyond programs – it fosters hope, dignity, and lasting support to the most vulnerable in our community,” Kuhl said.
