Garbage truck catches fire in Somerset County, dumps contents onto road

PEAPACK-GLADSTONE, N.J. (Somerset County) — A garbage truck fire prompted a road closure and emergency response Wednesday morning in Peapack-Gladstone, authorities said.

No injuries were reported.

Additional assistance was provided by the Peapack-Gladstone First Aid & Rescue Squad and the Somerset County Hazardous Materials Unit.
