GoFundMe launched to support Sussex County family after devastating fire

HAMPTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – A devastating fire on December 23 has left Glenn and Connie Fetterman of Carriage Acres in Hampton Township without their home or belongings.

Tragically, the fire claimed not only their possessions but also their beloved dog, Cody, according to the GoFundMe page.

The Fetterman family, parents to Beth Martin and her spouse Andy, are now facing the heartbreaking loss of their home and cherished memories. To support the family in their time of need, Phyllis McGeehan has launched a GoFundMe campaign, calling on the community to come together to help them rebuild their lives.

Clothing donations can be dropped off at the Stillwater Historical Society Porch and the Hampton Fire House. The family’s clothing needs include men’s 2x shirts, 40 waist pants, size 9 shoes, as well as women’s 3x tops, 18 pants, and size 8.5 shoes.

In addition to clothing donations, the GoFundMe fundraiser is also collecting financial contributions to help the Fettermans begin again. The community has rallied around the family, demonstrating unwavering support during this difficult time.

The GoFundMe has set a goal of $15,000 for the family. As of Thursday morning, it has raised more than $13,000. If you would like to donate to help the family, click here.
