Speaks About Economic Growth and Affordability in NJ

MADISON BOROUGH, NJ (Morris County) — U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) visited Rowan University’s Glassboro Campus to participate in a question and answer session moderated by Professor Ben Dworkin.

Gottheimer took questions from the professor, discussing topics including bipartisanship, economic growth in New Jersey, civility in Congress, the cost of higher education, the need to expand child care, and more.

“You can feel the excitement on this campus, and what’s going on for the future of the school. As a Jersey guy, it makes me very proud,” Gottheimer said. “It was great to join Rowan students to discuss ways to make our state a better place to live and work for our young Jersey residents. It’s important for us to keep talking about the best ways to help people stay in Jersey, and make life more affordable.”

Gottheimer was joined by Rowan University Provost Anthony Lowman, Director of Rowan Institute for Public Policy and Citizenship Dr. Benjamin Dworkin, and Rowan University Chief Government Relations Officer David Weinstein.
