Hunterdon County Beer Trail to launch 2026 passport program with festival at Prallsville Mills

HUNTERDON COUNTY, N.J. — The Hunterdon County Beer Trail will kick off its 2026 Passport Program later this month with a launch celebration featuring local breweries, live music and food vendors at Prallsville Mills.

The family-friendly event is scheduled for May 31 from noon to 3 p.m. at the historic Stockton venue and will offer visitors their first opportunity to pick up the new 2026 Beer Trail Passport.

Admission to the event is free, with half-pour beer tickets available for purchase for $5 each.

County officials said the Beer Trail program continues to promote local breweries while encouraging tourism and exploration throughout Hunterdon County.

“The Beer Trail has become a great example of what makes Hunterdon County special,” said Commissioner Deputy Director Jeff Kuhl, liaison to Economic Development and Tourism. “It brings together local businesses, tourism, agriculture, and community experiences into something that attracts visitors from across New Jersey and beyond. People come for the breweries, but they stay to explore our downtowns, restaurants, shops, farms, and beautiful countryside.”

Commissioner Susan J. Soloway said the passport program encourages residents and visitors to discover different communities and support small businesses across the county.

“The Passport program gives residents and visitors a fun and engaging way to experience Hunterdon County while supporting local breweries and small businesses,” Soloway said. “Each brewery offers its own unique atmosphere and craft selections, and the launch party is a wonderful opportunity for people to sample what makes each stop on the trail special.”

Participants can collect passport stamps by purchasing beverages or merchandise at participating breweries. Visitors who complete all nine brewery stops before Dec. 31, 2026, will receive a commemorative Beer Trail T-shirt available for pickup at Sunken Silo Brew Works or Conclave Brewing.

Completed passports also will serve as admission tickets to the Beer Trail’s end-of-season celebration, with additional details expected later this year.

Participating breweries in the 2026 Hunterdon County Beer Trail include Conclave Brewing, Descendants Brewing Company, Esker Hart Artisan Ales, Invertase Brewing, Lone Eagle Brewing, Odd Bird Brewing, Readington Brewery, Sunken Silo Brew Works and Wild Fern Brewing. Guests must be 21 or older to purchase or consume alcohol.
