Lane restrictions scheduled for Wednesday, Thursday night at Easton-Phillipsburg ‘free bridge’

PHILLIPSBURG, NJ (Warren County) – The Easton-Phillipsburg “free bridge” is scheduled to be restriction to single travel lanes in each direction (one of three lanes closed) from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26, and Thursday, June 27, according to the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission.

The evening-time travel restrictions are needed so electric crews can perform maintenance on the bridge’s lighting system, the commission said.

“Travel delays are not anticipated,” the commission said.

Motorists are urged to reduce speeds and exercise caution when lane closures are in effect at the bridge, the commission said.
