Here are the product recalls New Jerseyans should know about this week:

Sandford Family Croquet Sets Recalled Due to Violations of the Federal Lead Paint and Phthalates Bans; Sold Exclusively on Amazon by DOM Sports

Hazard: The paint or surface coating on the red mallet, blue mallet, red hoop, and winning post contain levels of lead that exceed the federal lead paint ban, posing a lead poisoning hazard. In addition, the coating on the red and blue mallets contains levels of regulated phthalates that exceed the prohibition of specific phthalates. Lead and phthalates are toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health issues.

Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled family croquet sets, and contact DOM Sports for information on how to email a photo of the recalled product being disposed of to support@domsports.com to receive the free replacement parts. DOM Sports and Amazon are contacting all known purchasers.

Vernier Science Education Recalls “Go Direct” Charge Stations Due to Burn Hazard

Hazard: The recalled charge station can overheat, posing a burn hazard to consumers.

Remedy:Consumers should immediately stop using the Vernier Go Direct Charge Station, and contact Vernier to receive instructions on how to return their charge station for a free repair. Vernier is contacting all known purchasers directly.

Vanilla Underground Minecraft TNT Children’s Pajamas Recalled Due to Burn Hazard and Violation of Federal Flammability Regulations; Imported by Premier P

Hazard: The recalled children’s pajamas fail to meet the federal flammability regulations for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injuries to children.

Remedy: Consumers should immediately take the recalled pajamas away from children, stop using them and contact Vanilla Underground for a full refund. Consumers should destroy the garments by cutting them in half and disposing of them in accordance with local and state recycling laws. Consumers should send a photo of the destroyed garment to customercare@vanillaunderground.com. Upon receipt of the photo, consumers will be issued a full refund of the purchase price.

Mobile Stands for Large Interactive Flat Panel Displays Recalled Due to Tip-Over and Entrapment Hazards; Imported by SMART Technologies

Hazard: The wheelbase welds on the stands can bend or break while the stand is being moved, causing the stands to fall over, posing tip-over and entrapment hazards.

Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled mobile stands and contact SMART Technologies ULC for an on-site replacement of the wheelbase free of charge. SMART and its authorized resellers are contacting known purchasers directly.

Oso & Me Recalls Children’s Pajama Sets Due to Burn Hazard; Violation of the Federal Flammability Regulations for Children’s Sleepwear

Hazard: The recalled children’s pajama sets violate the flammability regulations for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injuries to children.

Remedy: Consumers should stop using the children’s pajamas immediately and contact Oso & Me for a full refund. Consumers who purchased the product will be asked to destroy the garment by cutting the top and bottom in half, and sending the recalling firm a photo of the destroyed garment to ProductRecall@osoandme.com. Nutraceutical Recalls Heritage Store Hydrogen Peroxide Mouthwash Due to Risk of Poisoning; Violation of Child Resistant Packaging Requirement

The Home Appliances Recalls Camplux Brand Portable Tankless Water Heaters Due to Fire Hazard

Hazard: The portable water heaters can leak gas from the gas regulator connection, posing a fire hazard.

Remedy: Consumers should immediately turn off and stop using the recalled portable water heaters and contact The Home Appliances for a free repair kit. The repair kit consists of a replacement gas regulator with a quick connect attachment that allows for easy connection and disconnection without the need to screw in the gas regulator. Instructions for installing this repair kit will also be provided.
