Long Valley man charged after he allegedly choked boy on bus

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A Long Valley man was charged after he allegedly choked a boy on a bus in Washington Township, police said.

The Washington Township Detective Bureau charged a Long Valley man, whose name was not released, on Tuesday in reference to a simple assault that occurred on April 23, police said.

The charge stems from an altercation that occurred on a bus where the man choked the boy, police said.

No further information was released about the incident.

He was charged with simple assault and released pending a court appearance, police said.
