Man charged for second time after incident at Mount Olive Municipal Building

MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — A 33-year-old Budd Lake man was charged Tuesday for the second time in just over a month after an incident at the Mount Olive Township municipal building, police said.

Anthony Rondan was taken into custody on July 15 at about 3:24 p.m., after an officer observed him walking through the restricted parking area at the municipal complex. An officer recognized Rondan and asked him to leave the area. Rondan allegedly became irate and threw a lacrosse ball at a window of the building.

He was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct and trespassing. Rondan was later released pending a court appearance.

This follows a prior incident on June 1 at approximately 5:50 a.m., when Rondan allegedly entered the municipal lobby, began yelling at police dispatchers, and refused repeated lawful requests to leave the premises. He was charged with disorderly conduct.
