
Man charged with trespassing after allegedly entering apartment he was evicted from in Mount Olive Township
MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — A 47-year-old Budd Lake man was charged with criminal trespass after allegedly entering an apartment from which he had previously been evicted, according to Mount Olive Township police.
On Aug. 26, an officer responded to an apartment complex in the Budd Lake section of the township for a report of a man trespassing.
Police said the officer observed a man inside the apartment and made contact with him. The man was identified as Victor A. Gauthieroberti, 47, of Budd Lake.
According to police, management at the apartment complex confirmed that Gauthieroberti had been evicted and was not permitted inside the residence.
Gauthieroberti was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where he was charged with criminal trespass.
He was released pending a court hearing.
