Missing, endangered man last seen entering woods on ATV in Morris County has been found

MOUNT ARLINGTON BOROUGH, NJ (Morris County) – A missing and endangered man who was last seen entering woods on an ATV in Mount Arlington Borough has been found, according to Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Public Information Officer Meghan Knab.

On July 29, at around 8:45 p.m., the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office was notified of a missing, endangered 45-year-old man who had entered the woods on Sunday on his all-terrain vehicle and had not returned, Knab said.

The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office-Missing Persons Unit, Mount Arlington Borough Police, Morris County Sheriff’s Office K-9, and the New Jersey State Police Aviation and Electronic Surveillance Unit launched an investigation, in addition to a search where the person went into the woods off Howard Boulevard, Knab said.

The missing person was located in the woods on Tuesday, July 30, at around 12:30 a.m., and transported to Morristown Medical Center for treatment, Knab said.
