Mosquito spraying set for Thursday in 2 Morris County towns
MORRIS COUNTY, N.J. – The Morris County Mosquito Commission has announced that it will be using an All-Terrain Vehicle to treat a section of woods and surrounding property in Chatham, and Long Hill Township on Thursday morning.
Spraying is scheduled to take place from 4 to 7 a.m. Thursday, July 24, weather permitting, the commission said.
The following areas are scheduled to be treated:
- Chatham: Tanglewood Ln (sewer treatment plant), and Bridge Ave + Roosevelt Rd (Passaic River County Park)
- Long Hill Township: Tanglewood Trail
The commission will be using Anvil 2+2, active ingredient Sumithrin, EPA#1021-1687-8329 or Zenivex E4, active ingredient Etofenprox, EPA#2724-807.
