Mosquito spraying set for Thursday night in Long Hill Township

LONG HILL TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – The Morris County Mosquito Commission has announced that it will be using a truck mounted sprayer to treat streets in Long Hill Township on Thursday night.

The mosquito spraying will go on from 7:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 29, with a rain date of Friday, Aug. 30, the commission said.

The following streets are scheduled to be treated:

  • Long Hill Township: Valley Rd, Lounsberry Meadow, Stonehenge Rd, Knoll Ct, Karen Dietrich Dr., Deer Run, Heritage Rd, Indian Run, S, Northfield Rd, Aaron Dr, Leprechaun Dr., Shamrock Ct, Joss Way, Poppy Pl, Rainbow Dr., Rolling Hill Dr., Old Farm House Rd, Crest Dr, and Sun Rd.

The commission will be using Anvil 2+2, active ingredient Sumithrin, EPA#1021-1687-8329 or Zenivex E4, active ingredient Etofenprox, EPA#2724-807, Pesticide Applicator License Number 20262B.
