MORRIS COUNTY, N.J. — Mosquito control treatments are scheduled in wooded areas of three Morris County municipalities early Tuesday, Sept. 29, due to an increase in adult mosquito populations and vector-borne disease activity.
Weather permitting, treatments will be conducted by all-terrain vehicle between 4:30 a.m. and 6:30 a.m.
Treatment locations include Elm Street at Emmett Field in Florham Park, Pleasant Hill Road in Randolph and Jim Fear Drive at Jim Fear Park in Morris Plains.
The treatments will use either Anvil 2+2, with the active ingredient Sumithrin, EPA registration No. 1021-1687-8329, or Zenivex E4, with the active ingredient Etofenprox, EPA registration No. 2724-807.
