Motorcyclist injured after crashing into fence in Sussex County

WANTAGE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – A motorcyclist was injured after crashing into a fence on Sunday afternoon in Sussex County, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Jeffrey Lebron.

The crash happened at around 3:16 p.m. at the intersection of Wolfpit Road and Unionville Road in Wantage Township, Lebron said.

A preliminary police investigation revealed that a Kawasaki motorcycle lost directional control, ran off the roadway and collided with a fence, Lebron said.

The driver sustained moderate injuries and was transported to an area hospital, Lebron said.

The crash remains under investigation and no additional information was available, Lebron said.
