Nine Roxbury middle school students selected for North Jersey Region Intermediate Honors Choir

ROXBURY TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — Nine students from Eisenhower Middle School in Roxbury Township have been accepted into the North Jersey School Music Association Region Intermediate Honors Choir, school officials announced.

The selective ensembles feature top middle school musicians from across northern New Jersey who successfully complete a competitive audition process.

Accepted into the Treble Choir are Marieliz Carrero (Grade 7), Madison Costantiello (Grade 8), Sabrina Morales (Grade 7) and Katelyn Oliveira (Grade 7).

Selected for the Mixed Choir are Santiago Fandino (Grade 8), Myla King (Grade 7), Daisy Mickelson (Grade 8) and Karl Reiche (Grade 8).

The North Jersey School Music Association’s mission is to advance music instruction in educational institutions throughout northern New Jersey. The organization provides in-service and enrichment opportunities for practicing and retired teachers and prospective music educators, and sponsors festivals and performing groups for students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
