No injuries after tree falls on garage while homeowner was inside

WEST AMWELL TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – No one was injured Monday afternoon after a tree fell on a garage while the homeowner was inside in West Amwell Township, according to a post on the West Amwell Fire Company Facebook page.

West Amwell Fire Company along with mutual aid companies were dispatched at 3:08 p.m. to a residence for a tree into a garage, the post said.

The owner was working in the garage when the tree fell from strong winds. The homeowner was not injured, authorities said.

The West Amwell Township building official also responded to the scene.
