No injuries reported in Hunterdon County structure fire

BLOOMSBURY BOROUGH, NJ (Hunterdon County) – No injuries were reported in a Saturday morning structure fire in Hunterdon County, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Trooper Troy McNair.

The fire was reported at around at 7:55 a.m. at a building located at 99 North Street in Bloomsbury Borough, officials said.

Upon arrival of first responders, it was confirmed there was a smoke condition, crews went to work attempting to gain access and determine the source and location of the smoke, authorities said.

The source was identified and extinguished, after calling in additional resources due to the size and hazardous conditions of the building, officials said.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation and no additional information was available, McNair said.
