One dead, two injured in Route 206 crash in Morris County

CHESTER TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — One driver was killed and two others were injured Sunday after a multi-vehicle crash on Route 206 in Chester Township, police said.

The crash happened around 3:51 p.m. at the intersection of Route 206 and Fox Chase Road, according to Chester Township police. Officers arrived to find two vehicles at rest along the side of the roadway.

One driver sustained fatal injuries, a passenger suffered serious injuries, and another driver had a minor injury, police said. All were transported to Morristown Medical Center.

Police are withholding the names of those involved as the investigation continues. Anyone who witnessed the crash or has information is asked to contact Detective Bohn at mbohn@chesterpolicenj.org.
