Police investigate burglaries at 2 Warren County pharmacies
WARREN COUNTY, NJ — Authorities are investigating a series of pharmacy burglaries that occurred in Warren County earlier this month, with both incidents involving suspects using the same stolen vehicle, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Jeffrey Lebron.
On Sept. 13, at around 5:54 a.m., New Jersey State Troopers responded to a burglary at North Warren Pharmacy located on Route 594 in Blairstown Township, Lebron said.
Preliminary reports indicate that two male suspects entered the pharmacy and stole around $400 in cash, while two accomplices acted as lookouts outside, Lebron said.
The group fled the scene in a white passenger vehicle bearing stolen New York registration JPS5317.
Just three days later, on Sept. 16, at around 12:31 a.m., troopers received a call about a burglary alarm at Panther Valley Pharmacy on Route 517 in Allamuchy Township, Lebron said.
In this incident, three suspects reportedly entered the pharmacy and emptied the cash register, while a fourth suspect waited outside. The total amount of cash or prescription medication taken remains unknown, Lebron said.
Surveillance footage captured the suspects fleeing in a white Acura TLX, which also displayed the same stolen New York registration, Lebron said.
Both incidents remain under investigation, and no additional was information, Lebron said.
